Moving along...
Well, let's see... let's go down the list. My health is in some ways better, and in some ways exactly the same. Since it isn't getting worse, let's take it as a YAY sort of thing.
The chair. So the gentleman who repaired it five years ago came today, looked it over, and said a few things, the most important being that the frame is strong and unbroken and so, it could be fixed. But with my size and the fact I practically live in it, he went with redoing strapping and went to TOWN fixing it. There is honestly nothing better than watching a craftsman work and this guy is a craftsman. He talked to the chair, to his tools, and you could SEE him planning, tossing plans, replanning, and executing to make this chair the strongest it could be.
He worked for, not kidding, about 2 hours nonstop, and then sat me in it. It is higher than before, but a lot more comfortable too. And THEN he dropped the hammer and told me that honestly, this was not going to last, but what he wanted to do was to take my beloved chair to his shop and gut her, and rebuild her to make sure she would never have an issue. I asked the cost of that and WE CAN AFFORD IT! The repair was paid for, the upcoming redo we'll pay for and finally I'll be at ease as I do LIVE in this darn chair.
And I've got to work on that... I told Veronica that honestly, I feel naked, unprotected, and afraid when I sit in other chairs. I've made this into almost a suit of armor, and that's just not right. It is a CHAIR, not a life. OK, its a damn GOOD chair, but a chair nevertheless.
Other than that, I wrote a bit, and drew a bit... and thanks to owning a Kindle Fire (thank you again, Sandy!!!) I have become obsessed with a silly free ap called DragonVale. I'm breeding all sorts of dragons.
And I'm still in love with WoW... working to level even more battlepets so I can FINALLY win the celestial tournament and get my glowy blue tiger battlepet :D
