You're such a smart girl, you've got a good head on your shoulders. And you're kind. You'll do fine in life whatever you decide to do.

I think it's sort of sucky for universities to make their students set forth a (even preliminary)degree program when they're freshman. Like anyone really knows what they want to do with the rest of their lives at 18! I'm 26, about to graduate (Dec. 16th YAY!) and I still don't know what to do.

The panic is your friend. It means that the college experience is working. It drives you and centers you. I'm sure this isn't the first time you've felt it, and it sure as hell won't be the last. It's when you STOP feeling the panic that you need to worry. 'Cause that means you don't care and you're two weeks away from dropping out. Don't let that happen.

Someone like you deserves to stick it through and get the best education you can get. Even if you end up with a degree in Early Mayan Traditional Basket-Weaving, at least you'll know that you gave it your all.

Good Luck. You know my email if you need to talk.
