The Butterfly Effect (rewatch)
So apparently there are ASLDFDKAFJDHAK number of endings for the movie The Butterfly Effect. I just rewatched it last night only to be disappointed at the end when Ashton's character stayed alive. Now I know that sounds bad to say but when I watched the movie the first time years back he went back to his mom's pregnancy and killed himself in the womb through strategic use of an umbilical cord. Come to find out, the version I had seen the first time was the Director's Cut while the version I watched last night was the theatrical release. Needless to say, I enjoyed the Director's Cut better. It's much more thought-provoking, in my opinion, and sometimes you don't need a happy ending. (Or rather, you need the least happy ending.)
