Runaway, runaway, I'll attack.

Once everyone had cleared out - including those on the second floor -, Alice sighed with relief. She prepared to go back to sleep when Damien blocked the doorway with a cheeky grin.

Uh-oh, Her mind screamed.

“You’re not going anywhere, honey,” he said as he advanced towards her. “You crashed my party and I expect you to redeem yourself.”

He gave her a cocky grin as he continued looming over her. Alice stubbornly stood her ground and stuck out her chin as she folded her arms under her breasts.

“What are you talking about? You crashed my slumber and you expect me to keep mum about it? No way big guy…”

Alice moved around him to escape the sweet smell of male hormones from her crush. Unfortunately, he grabbed her by her upper arm before she could finish rounding him. Her head slumped forward as she tried to stop her heart from beating too fast.

“You know…” He started and Alice could hear the grin in his voice. “Our parent’s are away on a high school reunion dinner in L.A and won’t be back till next week. I’ve been feeling lonely because no one’s wimme…” He pouted and looked at her face with mock sadness.

She frowned as she tried to fight the urge to kiss his pouted mouth.

Their parents had been the best two couples back when their parents were in high school. They had been best friends because of their status. It was strange - and unfortunate - that they were still best friends even after they had their own children to take care of.

If their parents weren’t best friends, Alice would not have suffered the humiliation she experienced whenever Damien was around. Or even fall in love with him.

“So? Go drown yourself in your own self pity, you loner,” she teased and laughed when his face fell.

Then, realising what she had done, she pulled back on her straight face. Damien searched her face at her sudden change of mood - which happens a lot whenever he was around.

Seeing that Damien was looking at her closely, with a cute frown on his forehead, she could not help but blush at his intensity.

She heard him chuckle at her reaction and yanked her hand away.

“Jerk…” She whispered as she stormed her way out of his house and back into hers.

She never could figure out why he loved to tease her or always takes her as a joke.

A few times before, he would complain to her about how dramatic or stupid or sluttish his girlfriend was and that was the only few times when he would not regard her like she was his toy.

She wished that he was hers. She wished that she was the one kissing him or that she was the one he wanted.

She slammed her eyes shut once she was in bed. The next day would be a Saturday, and she would gladly welcome the day because she wouldn’t need to see him tomorrow.

It was her girlfriends’ day out.

With a sigh, Alice drifted off into white puffy clouds of slumber.

Alice moaned when she felt the soft wind blowing into her left ear. She felt something soft and wet just below her ear and she moaned again. Then, she felt it on her cheeks, then her bare neck.

She groaned and opened an eye. She saw the blurry haze of the ceiling.

“Hey babycakes… Wake up…” A soft, deep and soothing voice whispered in her left ear.

Closing her eyes, she took in the pleasure of hearing the voice. There was something familiar to it, something nice…

Then, it dawned on her. Something familiar!

Her eyes snapped open and she looked to her left. Then, two things happened: Her shrilly scream and the covering of her mouth.

Her eyes, wide with panic looked at the guy beside her: Damien.

Anger bubbled through her. Before she had a chance to bite his hand, he pulled back and grinned devilishly at her.

“You licked me!” She screamed and threw a pillow at him.

“I didn’t lick you. I kissed you,” he said casually.

“You kissed my neck!” She screamed and threw another pillow.

“It was nice. You have really soft skin,” He retorted back matter-of-factly.

And it was true. Ever since forever, he had wanted to feel her milky, white skin. She was very irresistible.

Unfortunately, Alice thought that he was joking and threw her last pillow at him.

Well, Damien could not possibly blame her. He was always teasing her. She probably thought that she was a joke to him. Maybe, it was for the better.

Until he could figure out the reason why he liked to tease and disturb her. But, well, one thing was for sure: He liked knowing that he had control over her feelings.

It was like she belonged with him.

Okay~
Wait for part THREE. (:
