Well, it turns out that attending Printer's Row today was a bad idea, as not only five minutes into my visit Mother Nature decided to punish book lovers with a torrential downpour and massive gusts of wind. As booksellers frantically packed their wares into boxes, I was ushered by security to take protection in an alley with a bunch of other attendees until the storm passed. At some point one of the panicked crowd members screamed, "I love living in Chicago!," which got some laughs out of everyone. Oh well, at least I got some free chocolate first.
