(no subject)
Well I am at school and I feel slightly like I am starting to go insane, I just spent the last two hours reading plato and trying to discover what his thoughts on morals were through the writtings on his character/person of socrates. Ode to philosophy you are going to blow my mind, and not is the good way either. but other then that things seem to be going pretty good I have a directing class that I am super stoked about taking.
Also I went to go and see a show last night at the east vancouver cultural centre and it was absolutly awesome, I am totally loving the culture that is at my finger tips out here. It was so much fun during intermission I ended up having a conversation with the sound and lighting guys of the show and they were so funny and we were just hanging out talking theatre and stage and the people and places to know, it was really fun. The show was Peer Gynt by Ibsen and it was actually really funny, I didn'think that I would enjoy it but it turned out to be one of the better things that I have seen as of late.
I also have an audition at six oclock which I am slowly getting more nervous for, I am not really sure what to expect because all that has been said is that it is a group audition and that Aaron whats us in studio cloths (sweats basically) so I am thinking that it is just a go in and play and let him direct me and see wat happens. It is just kind of odd because there isn't any monologue or song and dance which is the auditions that I have become used to. But hey change is good right?
Other then that I am really stoked about heading down to calgary for the weekend. ROAD TRIP!!!!! Me and my sister are heading out because she has to insure her car and I don't have class on friday. But it will be good to see some of the people that I have sorely been missing, and getting some loven from those hotties in the home town. So this weekend promises to be one of much fun and laughter.
Well that was my update for the day, I don't truly think that I have ever written one so long so congrats to everyone who read all the way through, you are probably procrastinating as much as I am and just about as bored!
