last night , that would be 6/10/09, my only son was in a traffic accident. The car he was in ^T-Boned another vehicle.Zach is currently in intensive care surgery section at Carle hospital in urbana. He has the following things wrong
1). ruptured bladder
2) broke back ( a T fracture to one vertebrae)
3)5 broke ribs
4) a golf ball size hemotoma on his kidney
5) a hole in his arm just below the elbow that you could lose a golf ball in. (not broken just a big hole.Plastic surgery to begin this morning.)
6)a number of lacerations on his face & head
7)a collapsed lung
8)a laceration on his left leg ( I think)
9) a laceration to his liver.
Now I have only seen a picture of the car on a cell phone & I will say that he is lucky to be alive! it took 25 min. for the ems or whatever you call the fire dept. rescue squad to get him out of the vehicle. then they airlifted him by copter to the hospital.Zach always said that everything happens for a reason, I am happy that he is alive!appreciate all of your prayers. will keep in touch .
