This is always a bad day...
Feb. 11-Feb. 12 is always a rough stretch for the Paul. It was on that night, 21 years ago that my Dad died. However, this has been a pretty good weekend.
My new LJ Icon is the art work for the new upcoming Porcupine Tree record, "Fear of a Blank Planet", replacing the art for Marillion's "Somewhere Else" (which also happens to be coming out in April.) This is part of the Big Slew O' New Albums that are coming out in 2007, which include Rush's "Snakes and Arrows", Dream Theater's "Synchronistic Chaos" (ooh I like that title!) and new projects from Tori Amos, Metallica and a few others.
Friday saw a visit to the dockiter's office--my first in a while as I have been without insurance for a while (am not anymore). Afterwards, time at Nat's and dinner for two at Sammy's Noodle Shop. Went with drukwerk, epinephric, and of course my beloved green_kohai to the WickedFaire, an excellent 16+ RenFaire which (bizarrely enough) was at the same expo center that hosted TesFest last year. Coolness! Today we just putzed around Sunset Park but we're going to Carnegie Hall tomorrow night so life's not all bad.
Oh and we took some new Ugly photos, the first in a while...stay tuned.
