Following the previous post.

One of the reasons New York crowd is so deaf to what is going on around it is because of the crazy stuff that is going on around it.




See the picture above? I took it the other week as I walked onto the MIB3 set. Could not possibly pass it by - Men In Black movie set occupied pretty much whole SoHo at the time. The crowd above are extras walking to the shoot. If you look closely you can see a half-naked dude in the center of the photo with silver hair and silver cross painted on his face. Each of them is dressed in what looks like costumes from the groovy sixties. Yet as a whole they look just something that you would expect to see on SoHo's street corner.

And how often do you walk into a shoot on the streets of New York? I walked into what looked like a fashion shot in the very next block, lucky me:




Don’t go walking on Greene Street if you don’t want to be in movies.
