I'll ask some questions then..

What are the men like? Are there any sleazy ones who look a bit like..

SWOON

Is it clean? I don't want to sound like a prissy queen, but I went to a play club in Manchester and there was matter floating in the jacuzi.

Is it alright to watch people having sex there or do people go off into private areas? Or maybe people don't have sex at all, do they?

Many of the guys aren't particularly good looking. At least 30% of the men behave in a really sleazy way. There are about 8-10 men for every 1 woman.

It is alright to watch people have sex if they let you; there are private areas at the back where people go to have sex and the doors are lockable, but people knock on the doors to join in/watch. There are private rooms for couples upstairs where there is none of that.

It's a sex-positive environment but (in my experience as a person with a female body) men seek consent by feeling me up rather than by chatting me up gradually.

It's not very clean, but there's a lot of chlorine in the jaccuzzis/small swimming pool. You get given a towel but watch out; someone might use it when you're not looking and you don't know what they're going to do with it. You could bring your own non-white towel. Sometimes there are problems with athletes foot (and probably also verrucas).

Monday nights and Wednesday nights from 7pm are strictly naturist only; I'm not sure how that would affect you. At other times it's fine if you wear swimwear. Saturday nights are couples only, and that is strictly male/female.

There are free non-alcoholic drinks: tea/coffe/water/cordial and free biscuits. They sell sandwiches/toasted sandwiches and you can also order food in (pizza etc) - I'm not sure if they have any menus. There is smoking at the bar area only.

free biscuits you say? Risk of verruca v free biscuits. Now that's a tough call!

You can wear flip flops/jelly shoes/plastic sandals.

The athletes foot was a nightmare... but I'm taking a risk.

It's a fun place though :-)

JELLY SHOES!!! I used to own a lovely pair that made my feet look like lumps of vacuum packed bacon.

I do swimming nearly every day and I seem to have avoided verrucas and athletes foot, even though the changing rooms are often full of stinking teenage boys (I reckon they have to be patient zero with verrucas).

Ah, you should be ok then. Repulsive to all known feet nasties ;-)
