so heres the new update.
I got a part in "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas." Its only a small part, ensemble level. im part of the "Melvin P. Thorpe Singers" which i gather to be a traveling choir that follows around an evangelist, a la The Mission Band to Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls. But it is still a part, so im happy with it. also, theres a number of featured singing and speaking roles yet to be cast, little solos and lines here and there, which will be pulled from the company. so, maybe ill get one of those. either way, i still made it to the last cut for the lead roles, and i was the only underclassmen left...so...yeah. its good.
I have one more audition, for the student directed fall play, "manuscript." its my favorite play of the season, and theres only 11 guys trying out for 2 roles, so...i mean the odds arent great but they arent against me either. so, heres hoping. ill let you all know. see you!
