It's too early for this list...

...but one of my magazine is making me compile a Top 15 discs of the year. After careful deliberation - well, as much as I could do with only a day and change notice - here is the list that will run in Metal Hammer next year:
  1. The Sounds - Living In America (New Line)
  2. Cursive - The Ugly Organ (Saddle Creek)
  3. The Mars Volta - De-Loused In The Comatorium (Universal)
  4. Stiffed - Sex Sells (Cool Hunter)
  5. The White Stripes - Elephant (V2)
  6. Helios Creed - On The Dark Side Of The Sun (Staticwhitesound)
  7. Killing Joke - Killing Joke (Epic)
  8. Arch Enemy - Anthems Of Rebellion (Century Media)
  9. Electric Six - Danger! High Voltage (XL)
  10. Ryan Adams - Rock N Roll (Lost Highway)
  11. Glass Candy - Love Love Love (Troubleman Unlimited)
  12. Party Of Helicopters - Don't Believe It (Velocette)
  13. Peaches - Fatherfucker (XL)
  14. Neurosis & Jarboe - Neurosis & Jarboe (Neurot)
  15. Avenged Sevenfold - Waking The Fallen (Hopeless)
It will probably change by the time I vote in the Village Voice poll... I don't know if that will happen due to new discs or more of an opportunity to revisit older recordings, but I'd assume the former is more likely.
