Last week , someone I volunteer with asked me what it is exactly about jrock band that I like...y'know, since I kind of lost interest in American bands. All I told them was:
"I dunno. I just think their music better than American bands."
(
but I thought it through a little more and I know why I love jrock bands more... )

i like how Jrock bands and just J music is always updating and releasing new stuff! because sometimes you just dont hear anything from a band until like a year later @_@ but j music is always updated!
i dont really listen to American bands because i think most of them sound similar(imo) and the stuff i hear on the radio doesnt appeal to me like jrock does xD

I've also noticed that Western bands don't just produce their own repetitive music, but you seem to get a few bands all coming along at the same time with exactly the same sound. When that trend is out of fashion, they disappear to make way for the whatever is next. It is just soooo boring >.<;
I also realised that I don't listen to Western bands with a vocalist who just screams/shouts. I don't mind being unable to understand the lyrics if there is a language barrier but incoherence and an inability to actually sing annoys me. Plus Japanese vocalists can put so much emotion into their singing. Their voices truly become another instrument ^_^

it and just listen to the guitars & such, but i totally agree with you.
thats the one thing i truly love about jrock bands,
the vocalist & how much emotion they put into any song;
i'm a HUGE ruki fan & i pretty much worship the man
because of how amazing he is; and i always say how i love
how he puts sooooooo much emotion into a song, it makes me
want to cry. i know other jrock vocalists do so too; but im biased & vote ruki for being the best X)
^_^ thanks for reading~
