It can be, yes! Especially when you're little and learning.

Squeaky was just playing, but Meowth didn't feel like playing. So he attacked him, and I caught him in a Pokeball so he wouldn't get hurt!

Maybe you should try! I get along better with Meowth now that I don't just think of him as a cat.
