Haha, looking at some Christmas Day LJ entries from years past. 2009, 2008, 2007
I think it's fun to look at older entries and laugh at my younger self, or just having fun remembering funner days and whatnot.
One of my won't-ever-happen wishes for Christmas is to magically make up with everyone I have ever once considered a friend. If I never considered you a friend, then no, I don't need to make up with you, lol.
But if I was ever once close to somebody or used to talk to them a lot, thought of them as a friend and whatnot, deep down, as a Christmas wish, I wish that I could re-connect with them, even if it's just to apologize for something or see how they're doing. I recently noticed that a person I loved very much during my middle and high school years posted on her LJ! I haven't spoken to her since 2007. I hope she is doing well. It'd be nice to talk to her again, I'm just not sure how I'd go about it, that's all.
I just noticed the Christmas present the guy I used to like 3 years ago got for me. Although they are a pair of maneki neko in Santa hats (so it's Christmas themed!), it sits on my router next to the monitor all year round. I'll dust it off a bit and move my children to the side and have Santa maneki neko up front for Christmas Day! (Maybe they can bring me good luck and help me win the lottery for Christmas...)
