Day 18 - Your favorite birthday, in great detail
It's kinda hard, since all my birthdays are the same. I've never done anything special, nobody's ever done anything really special for me in celebration, etc. No amazingly unbelievable events or gifts... My mother just orders the same kind of cake, year after year, from the Italian Bakery down the street and sometimes I have to go and pick up my own cake. My birthday is rather boring and plain. Plus whatever I wish for never comes true anyway.
But I guess the closest thing to a favorite birthday was in 2008, when the guy I liked at the time sent me some Belgian chocolates. Nobody was home when they were delivered, so the mailman carelessly left them in front of our door. A good neighbor of ours saw this disaster waiting to happen (as most of the people in this building cannot be trusted - there's a sex offender of little boys 1 floor below us, for heaven's sake) and held the package for safe keeping. And then at 9PM, let us know the mailman was stupid to do such a thing, and kindly delivered the chocolates.
And, like an idiot who has no self-control, I proceeded to devour as much chocolate as I could that night and got sick, nihaha. I've never had those kinds of chocolates before, but it was really good. (It was milk, dark, and white chocolate. I enjoyed the milk and white chocolates, but I've always hated dark chocolate. I really tried to enjoy the dark chocolate, since it was from him, but I... just... couldn't... do it...!! T__T)
Uwaa, I think it was supposed to be a Valentine's Day gift instead, but it arrived on my birthday, February 11.
