Yeah, I tend to be over dramatic. I know it's just a few days, but it's amazing how slowly time passes when you're waiting on someone to come home.

No, definitely not just you..... the first day Monica was gone, I sat and refreshed Gmail and Facebook 500 times, hoping she had found a wi-fi connection to write.

Finally, after about 8 hours of waiting, it finally came. lol

hahahaha...i used to do that! like i'd pretend to be doing something else online... it's almost like i'm lying to myself that i'm "busy"...but i'm really just waiting for that reply...that silly red flag thingy popping up lol!

I build websites for a living, so I'm on the computer ALL the time. But lately, I haven't been doing much work. It's hard to stay focused.

Yes, each site on there I designed and built. My dad and I are partners ... he is the sales / PR guy, and I'm the designer / creator / business manager.

Until recently, we built entirely in Flash.....but I'm shifting more towards HTML 5 since that's where technology is moving.

Ha ha....sounds nice, but .... working with my dad presents its own set of challenges. lol

We started in April 2009. But I had my own video production company in Dallas for a few years before that.

i work for a family owned company right now...as in the dad, mom, 2 brothers are in it. the youngest one is my actual boss...but i mean, they're all my bosses but i report to the youngest one...who's my age. it's pretty entertaining because sometimes they argue about the business where the family bickers at each other and one pouts and throws a tantrum while the other jokes around and never takes anything seriously. it's like watching a live sitcom lol.
