- and i'd like to say sorry for my inactivity here, life happened, and well, lj doesn't cooperate so yeah~ ;w;
"Well, does it have a blueprint or anything?" He asked.
"Maybe there is!" Nozomi said. "In Sensei's lab!"
"I'll go get it. 'Height Machine' right?" Ryuu said, standing up.
"Wait!" I called to him. "Maybe we should all go. We don't have anywhere to stay as well. We can't be seen."
"Let's do that." Umika said.
All agreeing, we made our way to the 3rd Lab.

"I think that really doesn't sound like an order from the Principal..." Shougo said.
"Eh? Really?" Kamiki replied.
"It actually kinda sound like it's from a Yakuza. A black mail letter." Shougo deadpanned.
"Well you do it then!" Miki said, irritate
Shougo sighed exasperatedly and started typing.
"There's an emergency. Go back to the school now." He said while typing and proceeded to send the message to Takuo-sensei's mail.
"Seriously..." Shougo said to Miki, exasperated. "'What's with I''ll make this simple' at the beginning. Try getting roles for lighter dramas, why don't you?"
Miki was about to say something, but then the bell rang.

Yuto's POV
The laboratory was unlocked, thank goodness. We just barely made it. Just as Ryuu closed the door, the bell rang.
It was already our dismissal time.
"Lock the door!" Chinen said. Well, it wouldn't do if someone saw us. "They wouldn't think it's unusual since sensei always lock this lab."
Suzuka sneezed besides me. I looked at her. She really looked pale.
I heard the door click, locked. Ryuu must have done so since he was the one closest to the door.
"Okay..." Inoo-chan said a bit awkwardly and I looked up. "So let's start looking for the blueprint..."
"Ah, hai." Nozomi said, a bit distracted. She was still holding the pieces of what was formerly the height machine.
"Oh, sorry I forgot." Umika said, placing us gently to the table and hurrying to Nozomi.
"Arigatou." Nozomi said as the two of them gently placed the pieces down.
"Is that it?" Ryuu suddenly said,
All of us looked at where Ryuu was pointing.
It was a folder. Inoo-chan moved towards it and took it.
"Uwah, it really is." He exclaimed.
"That was fast..." Yama-chan commented. I could only nod.
Inoo-chan moved back to where we were and laid the folder on the table. Nozomi, Umika and Ryuu moved closer to Inoo-chan while Chii, Mirai and Yama--chan went around the folder. I was about to go, too but I noticed Suzuka didn't move. She looked paler than ever. I decided I'll just stay there with her. We were sitting just about a foot away from them. It seems so far, actually.
"It seems to be a list of all of sensei's invention." I heard Mirai say.
"Its 'Height Machine.'" Chinen said. They seems to be looking for the machine's page.
Inoo-chan nodded, flipping the pages until finally, he stopped at one page.
I could see the inverted 'Height Machine' written in bold letters on top of the page from where we were sitting. There were paragraphs under it and what seems to be an illustration of the machine itself.
"Yokatta, it seems everything is here." Inoo said. I couldn't help but smile at that. I looked at my other friends.
Suzu-chan, besides me as well as Chii who was closest to us were also looking relieved.
From farther away, I caught Mirai and Yama-chan glanced at each other and swiftly glanced away. Jeez, they are so thick.
I heard Suzuka stifle a giggle. She was also looking at Mirai and Yama-chan. I had to smile to that.
"So, you can do it Inoo-chan?" Chinen asked.
"Maybe. I can't imagine how it should look like cause this is just the, well, to use a word, 'floor plan' but we'll see." Inoo said, seriously. "Well, we need to get you three back to normal. We have work the day after tomorrow. I don't wanna imagine the fan's reaction if we're missing members." He said, smiling a bit.
I sighed in relief.
"You can do it Inoo-chan! You're a genius!" Yama-chan said positively.
"Don't say that! Don't pressure me!" Inoo said.
"This machine..." Ryuu chirped. We all looked at him.
"What is it, Morimoto-kun?" Umika asked.
"Wouldn't it look like that machine in that movie..." He said in a soft voice.
"What movie?" I asked.
"That movie Keito lent me ages ago. And it's actually kinda the same with what happened. The movie is also about a machine that turned the kids small, like you guys." He continued saying, looking at us.
Inoo turned to us as well. "How did the machine looked like before?" He asked.
"Well, it was sort of like a laser or something." Mirai said.
"It's as big as a video camera." Yama-chan said and then turned back to me. "It's as big as your new one, ne?"
"Ah, yeah, I think so." Well, I never really saw the machine very much. What I remember the most was the flash of light.
Inoo turned to Ryuu. "Do you have a picture of the one in the movie?"
"I have the movie in my DS!" Ryuu said but then his eyes widen and he slapped his forehead. "I left my DS with Yukki."
"Well, nevermind." Inoo said. "Let's just follow this." he pointed at the folder. "I'll need your help, Taro."

"Well, we'll just have to wait for sensei now." Kamiki said.
"Un." Shougo agreed.
Kamiki looked at his watch. "It's already quarter to five. Think sensei can make it back before... well."
"Well, if he doesn't, we still have Inoo-san as our second option. But I don't think he'd have reached Sapporo now. I'm sure he'll be able to go back soon." Shougo said positively. Somehow, having accomplished their task made them a bit more calm.
"Well, let's go back to the rooftop now." Miki said. Shougo nodded.
"Eh?" Shougo suddenly said.
"What is it?" Miki asked, alarmed.
"I think it rained." Shougo said. They hadn't noticed anything since coming to the office. Shougo only looked outside the window now.
"You're right. Well, call Nozomi first, maybe they moved to a different place." Kamiki said.
Shougo nodded and took out his phone. As he did, Miki cautiously looked out the Principal's Office to the Faculty Room.
"It's already empty." Miki said. "Our teachers have already went home, I guess. Let's go." He told Shougo.
Shougo, still holding his phone to his ear nodded and followed Miki out.
Even the lights were already turned off. Were they that long inside the office?
"Hello, Non-chan?" Shougo talked to his phone as the two of them walked out the Faculty Room.
"There you are!" Someone suddenly said. Shougo's voice died down.
"A-Asami... what are you still doing here?" Miki stammered. Asami looked annoyed.
"Don't tell me you forgot we have band practice today?" She said in an exasperated voice.
"Oh, right, we were about to go to our classroom." Miki said. Shougo looked at him sharply. Miki shrugged.
"And where's Yuto?" Asami asked, brows raised at the two boys.
"Uhm, they have work today. Inoo-san fetched them earlier." Miki said, inventing wildly.
Asami let out a sigh. "He said he's free today! Ugh! Well, come on you two. Everyone's waiting. Chielu's furious."
Both Miki and Shougo gulped.
"Just tell Nozomi about the situation." Miki mouthed.
Shougo could only nod.

Inoo and Ryuu was already working with the machine when a phone rang.
Nozomi hastily answered her phone. "Shougo?"
I saw her open her mouth about to say something but then she stopped. She listened to the other line for a long time and then she hung up her phone.
Shei suddenly looked at me.
"Chielu's gonna kill you." She said simply.
I groaned. The band practice. I totally forgot about it.
I felt someone pat me on the back. It was Suzuka.
I only smiled weakly at her. Well, I'd rather Chielu kill me than the freaking machine.
Well, maybe no. Chielu can be scary... ugh, what should I do?? Well, I can't really do anything, can I?
I was distracted from my reverie when I heard a harsh cough. Suzuka.
She started coughing violently. I started rubbing her back.
Mirai hurried to her side.
Suzuka's eyes were tearing up and it was as if she's even more paler now.
"You're still wet." Mirai said.
"It's your clothes." Umika, who had also moved closer, said.
"Maybe you should changed clothes." Nozomi suggested, who was also crouching down to us.
"Non-chan, I don't have anything to change into..." Suzuka said with a smile. "My gym clothes won't fit me at the moment. I'm still fine. Though I am a bit cold."
And just as she said it, I saw her shiver.
"You're wet, too..." Yama-chan commented. I didn't know who he was talking to at first because he was looking away, but he pointed Mirai.
It was true. Mirai's blazer was drenched. I didn't notice earlier.
"Ano, why don't you two rinse yourself? Before you catch something worst than a cold." I suggested. "And then we can let your uniforms dry in the meantime."
"Ehh?" Mirai and Suzuka said simultaneously.
"I brought my blowdryer. We can use that so your uniforms will be dry quick." Nozomi said.
"And I saw a thermos over at sensei's table. We can use the cup, you two can soak yourself. I'll go and prepare it." Umika said, smiling and standing up.
"Then I'll go get my bag." Nozomi said, standing up as well.
Umika was back within seconds. She laid her hand on the table and asked Suzuka and Mirai to get on.
"Where are you going?" I asked, bewildered.
"You can't expect them to take a bath in front of you guys, do you?" Umika said in an amused voice. And then she turned to Yama-chan and smirked, "Especially now we know someone's looking at Mirai-chan in a not so platonic way."
Chinen laughed hard. Yama-chan blushed crimson red and I think I saw Mirai did so, too.
I couldn't help but chuckle as well. Chinen is a bad influence to Umika.
Nozomi too, was back after some time. I watched as she took the girl's uniforms and started drying it.
I turned to Yama-chan and Chii. Yama-chan was looking at the girls as well while Chinen was watching Ryuu and Inoo-chan work.
I decided to take my chance.
I stood up and went besides Yama-chan.
He looked at me, a bit of surprise in his face.
"Sorry." I told him.
He raised his brows at me.
"About earlier." I said. "It was an accident... I didn't mean to kiss her."
Chinen looked at our direction at this and smiled. He also moved towards us and sat on Yama-chan's other side.
"Why are you saying sorry?" Yama-chan said but his tone was cold.
I just shrugged. "Just want to clarify that I didn't mean it. I don't think of Mirai-chan that way... she's more like a sister in some way..." I said. It was actually a hint. You know, cause Yama-chan is like a brother to me, and that goes for Chii, Ryuu, Inoo-chan and the other members as well.
"Yeah, you don't have to worry, Yama-chan." Chinen said with a laugh.
"I'm not worried!" Yama-chan said, turning pink again.
But Chii continued relentlessly. "Besides, Yuti likes someone else."
"Ehh?" I told Chii.
He shrugged. "I think Yuti likes Suzu-chan..." He said simply.
I'm sure my face is beet red now.
"You think so?" I asked him.
"Un." He said, nodding. "I actually think you two suit each other."
"Really?" I asked.
"Wait." Yama-chan interrupted. The two of us looked at him.
"How is it that you two can talk about this so calmly???" He said, looking ilogically frustrated.
"Cause Yuti can actually recognize and accept his feelings." Chinen said. "While Yama-chan is in denial." Chinen said in a teasing voice. "Just admit it, man. You like Mirai-chan. Nothing's wrong with that. Mirai-chan is pretty and intelligent and nice and talented. It's not hard to like her."
Yama-chan looked away but didn't say anything.
"Suit yourself." Chinen said with a shrug and then stood up again, turning back to Ryuu and Inoo-chan.
"I think Yama-chan and Mirai-chan look good together." I said as I, too, stood up and stretched.
I didn't looked back at Yama-chan. Better leave him in his thought now. I think that's the most Chii and I can do to help him.
Just then, Nozomi said the girl's uniforms were already dry.

an hour ago...
Nishii Yukito was seriously bewildered as to where his friend went. Ryuu just suddenly disappeared.
And he left his DS with him.
He had been looking all over the school for him after their dismissal but he couldn't find him.
'Ah, haven't checked the rooftop.' He thought. Ryuu always go there with his bandmates. The rain has already let up so it was possible he was there.
Yukki made his way up the stairs until he reached the rooftop.
But it was to find no one.
Nishii sighed. Well, he'd just return the DS tomorrow, then.
He was about to go back down when he saw it.
There something shining on the floor of the rooftop.
He moved closer to it.
"Beautiful..." He said, crouching down and picking it up.
It looked like a diamond.
