*Chinen’s POV*
“He’s dead… Ryosuke is dead”
I can’t believe it myself. I saw Ryo-chan in front of me the other day and tears just kept coming out of my eyes.
Who exactly is that?
Did Ryosuke came to life again?
I saw what happened. I was there… It’s impossible he could’ve survived that tragedy…
It’s impossible but somehow, I felt happy. He’s here!!! Ryo-chan is here with me again.

“Chinen-kun? Can I talk to you for a minute?” I saw a familiar man coming towards me and then sat comfortably into the park bench.
It was the same man Kei-nii was talking to a few days ago.
By this, I just nodded in reply.
“You saw Ryo-chan?” he asked me unexpectedly.
How did he know?
“What you saw isn’t your Ryo-chan…” he added.
I didn’t say anything in reply to those words. I became curious and just listened attentively to what this man is saying.
“ehh??”
“I think you have the right to know this, since Ryo-chan is your friend…” he continued with a weary voice constantly pausing every time he says a word; like he doesn’t mean what is coming out of his mouth…
I waited patiently for him to finish.
“But… but… but please, just support Kei… He’s longing for his brother. I can understand that. I tried to make him move on but my approach seems to fail... Just go along with his wishes… Onegai!!” the man then faced me and looked directly into my eyes. I swear I saw his eyes water while talking about Kei-nii.
“Who are you?!!” I finally said… “What do you mean he’s not Ryo-chan?!!”
“I’m Yabu Kota…” the man smiled at me in return… “Can you just please accept my request?”
“What actually happened to Ryo-chan? Please tell me…” I immediately said having felt droplets rolling down my own cheeks.
Instead, the man just stood up and left me. I attempted to follow him but I know he’s not going to talk anyway. At least, now, I know who I saw the other day was not my best friend.

“Ryo-chan… Can you please pass that CD for me?” I heard Kei-nii instructed.
The ‘fake’ Ryosuke obeyed him like he used to. He acts exactly like Ryo-chan… Our Ryo-chan.
I knocked on the door hoping that Kei-nii will open it for me. I am just not ready to face the ‘fake’ Ryosuke for now.

“Ahh… Chii…” Kei-nii allowed me in and let me sit on the nearest sofa in their living room.
There, I also saw Ryo-chan smile at me.
“Hi Chii… Nice to see you again.” he said cheerfully.
I can’t help but to look at Kei-nii who was sitting beside Ryosuke. He portrayed a weary facial expression as if he knew that I will still insist that Ryo-chan is indeed dead.
Instead, I remembered what Yabu-san told me earlier. I need to stay strong and support Kei-nii...
“Hello Ryo-chan…” I immediately said then took his hand which is waiting for me to shake… “Do you want to go outside today? We can hang around the park like we used to… Is that okay, Kei-nii?” I continued to act like nothing ever happened.
By this, I saw Kei-nii pull a smile at me that I never had seen since the tragedy that happened to Ryo-chan.
I then pulled Ryo-chan’s hand and head towards the door.
“Be careful… and be back before 6, ‘kay?” I heard Kei-nii shouted.

“Who exactly are you?” I asked.
“I’m Ryosuke…” he answered in reply.
“Are you trying to fool me? I’m Ryo-chan’s best friend… I know you’re not Ryosuke”
“You said Ryosuke is dead before, right? Is that true?” he asked.
This made me speechless. The fact that a person who looks exactly like my best friend asks if he’s dead. It broke my heart… I just don’t know what to say.
“Does Ryosuke love his brother?” he continued quite stiffly.
I nodded.
“Then I am Ryosuke. I know that… I love my brother. I love Kei-nii” he then smiled at me and even wiped the few tears rolling down my cheeks.
“Don’t worry Chii… I love you too…”

Before I know it, it was past 5pm. I was not surprised that Ryo-chan remembered what Kei-nii said before we left their house.
He then asked me if we can buy something for him before we get back.
I still have no idea who this man is. He looks like Ryosuke but he seems different. As far as I know, he’s not Ryo-chan. I know Ryo-chan too well. Even though he acts and talks like him, I can still sense he’s not the same as before.
However, the more I’m with him, the more I can see their similarities. He loves Kei-nii so much. Just like Ryosuke when he was still here. This made me think that it’s better for him to be here than let Kei-nii be alone and lonely.
“Shall we go now? I don’t want nii-chan to get worried” he said with a smile, disturbing my chain of thoughts.

We arrived at the front door of their house, a few minutes past the time Kei-nii instructed us to get back to. By the time we got there, the front door was already open.
I was quiet. Too quiet… It seems like Kei-nii went out for a while.
However, we were wrong. We looked at the state of the house and found out that someone broke in. All their appliances were everywhere. I also remembered seeing Kei-nii’s computer on the floor.
I remained silent… waiting for Ryo-chan’s actions.
“He’s in danger…” he said quickly.
I swear I heard something weird inside him. It’s like a ‘clicking’ sound coming from his chest.
Ryo-chan’s sharp eye then immediately saw a note in their living room table.
“If you want to see Inoo Kei again… Come to this place!” I read the piece of paper then Ryo-chan opened another folded card where it showed an address… “Make sure you’re alone” the note stated further.
“Let’s call the poli…” without letting me finish my sentence, Ryosuke immediately ran outside the door with fierce looking eyes.
I didn't think for awhile. The next thing I know is that I was following Ryo-chan and running as fast as I can to catch up with him.
The idea of calling the police seems to be forgotten.
What exactly is he doing? He’s gonna get himself killed!!!

“shhhh…” Ryo-chan put his index finger over his mouth indicating I should not make any sound.

“Tell me Kei!! Where’s the robot?!” I heard a man shouted then kicked Kei-nii who was already on the floor.
“He’s mine!!! You can’t take him away from me…” he replied then received another kick in the stomach.
“What are they doing to him? And, what robot?” I thought to myself.
I then felt Ryo-chan’s body drifting away from me.
“Where are you going?” I asked quietly, grabbing the sleeve of his shirt.
“Call someone…” he definitely ignored my question and instructed me. By this, I immediately pulled my phone and called the police.
Fortunately, my phone is cooperative enough to make a call and even allowed me to send all the details of our exact location to the police. However, the phone call got disturbed by Ryosuke’s loud shout…
“Leave my brother alone!!!” I heard him cry on the top of his voice.
I saw Kei-nii’s eyes widen when he saw his brother being approached by two fierce looking man.
“Ryosuke! Get away from here. These guys are here to get you!!!”

“ahh… is this him? He looks more beautiful than I thought... I’m gonna make a fortune out of him…” the man chuckled and held Ryo-chan’s chin then looked at him up and down.
Ryosuke gave off a sharp stare. He then held the man’s hand tightly not willing to let go.
After that, I just found the man flopping his hand like a fish because of the pain. Seeing this, another set of people charged against Ryo-chan. Some of them even have their own metal weapons ready to attack.
However, 4 men don’t have a match on his unexpected strength. He seems to have grown stronger. I’ve never seen Ryosuke like this before.
“Chii!!! Get Kei-nii out of here… Quickly!!!” my daze got disrupted by his shout.
I didn’t expect to freeze like this when trouble arise. I just don’t know what to do.
After hearing Ryosuke’s orders, I immediately ran towards Kei-nii who seems to be unconscious and had collapsed.
“Kei-nii!!! Kei-nii!!! Wake up… We need to get out of here…” I pleaded.

“You’re not going anywhere without being killed!!!” I heard a man shout at me holding up a thick metal bar.
I know he’s going to hit Kei-nii but I tried my best to cover him up to let the metal hit me first.
However, Ryo-chan immediately came in front that cause the metal bar to hit him hardly in his right arm.
“RYO-CHAN!!!”

By then, my best friend’s arm hang loosely in his body. Instead of blood, I saw series of electric current running through his build. Some wires coming out of his arm…
Within this scene, I immediately knew… He’s not human.

Author's Note: uwaaaahhh... A very very long time since I last posted... >.< this is a big big big challenge for me. I really hope I didn't ruin the story of this fic. *nervous* I thought adding some drama will make it errrmmm... "blahhh??" LOL. Okay, I admit... I failed here. ahaha... Hontou ni GOMEN!!! But I enjoyed writing here again... I hope someone will continue this. *praying...*
