Vacation
Phew. We are leaving tomorrow morning for a trip back to Cleveland. It may not be the most exciting vacation locale, but it will be nice to see Evan's family and to see some friends and to not work for a week. This week has been a little bit stressful trying to keep up with the busy pace and get things done before I leave, but today shouldn't be too bad. I do have to drive to Sheridan to see my two patients there, but at least they should be easy visits. I'm hoping to do that first thing this morning and then see a new patient in Tualatin and if I have time a new patient in SW Portland so that my coworkers don't have to do it for me next week. I'm sure they will have other new admits they have to cover for me.
I feel kind of bad leaving them for a week because things have been so busy, but I also feel like I maybe couldn't work another week without a break. My territory has been the busiest lately, so no wonder I am pooped. :)
So for vacation: We are mostly doing family stuff. Sunday noon they are having a family get-together for Evan's grandpa's birthday. On Monday we are getting together with our friends and seeing their baby who is now almost 13 months. Tuesday is Darcy's show choir thing and then Thursday we'll go to a football game to see her in the marching band. Friday we get together with Kim and Cy and then Saturday we come back home. Hopefully somewhere in there we'll also see Evan's brothers and the oldest's family. If nothing else, it will be nice to just be relaxing each day. And the weather there should be nice! It's actually supposed to be in the 70's and partly sunny for a good part of the week.
