I've been putting a little thought into getting a car.
My parents had the idea I could pay them like $99 a month + insurance to use their Civic like it was my car...except I couldn't go out of state or anything with it...
So I'd rather buy my own car. Cause what's the point of having a car if you can't use it how you want? I even told them I'd go out of state with it.
Plus if it's mine I can easily tell them to shove it when I'm out the door driving to TGA with people.
But I'm rather clueless when it comes to owning a car. Anybody reading this have any advice to offer?
I make around $560 or so biweekly (based on the $280 I took home last week for 40 hours) so anybody have any advice they can give or stories about their first cars?
Oh...and I'd rather buy a newer car with a warranty and stuff.
