Wu Xia
I interrupt this unintended period of silence on my poor, neglected livejournal with some pictures of Takeshi Kaneshiro.
It's been a while since he made an official public appearance, and we have the premiere of Wu Xia at the Cannes Film Festival to thank for these pictures. So glad he finally decided to eat a few burgers, he looks so much better now compared to how he looked in the ads he did for Emporio Armani.
Can't wait to see the movie when it opens here! It's been a long time (since 2009 I think) since he had a new film. The reviews for Wu Xia have generally been favourable, and his quirky detective role sounds rather entertaining. The movie has also been acquired for distribution in the US and will be inexplicably renamed to Dragon which to me, has no connection to its Chinese title or the story from what I've read so far.
