Engagment...
Okay, so I have had a request to keep this thing updated with information about my engagement and all of the planning that is taking place.
Sean proposed on July 19th, 2007 and we plan on getting married on July 19th, 2008. I am happy to have the time to plan, and as it is fun, it is also crazy and stressful.
I have been working on the Save The Date letters that will be going out soon. I thought of a good idea and am kind of doing it all on my own. Sean's mom is going to help me tomorrow, so I am kind of happy to share the load.
I need to go try on dresses and everything, but I have pretty much got an outline of how things are going to go and how they need to be.
We have chosen Sage/Celadon green and Ivory for our colors, probably with some silver accents. It will be outside at the golf course in Cathlamet and the reception will be at the clubhouse.
I am kind of stressed because I know so many people, but they aren't really "friends" anymore, and I really don't want to spend a ton of money for people to come that really dont mean anything to me. Sean and I started with a HUGE guest list, and we have narrowed it down to about 200 guests, give or take.
Anywho, I should probably get to bed because I need to keep the energy during this last week of the Summer Kid's program. I am going to miss all of them, but they have drained me and I will definitely enjoy the sleep.
