So what happened to that auto-save doohickey on my update page?  I wrote a huge entry last night and another program co-opted my window and erased it. Arrgh. You know, that happens to me way too often. *is stupid*

As part of our cram-a-lot-of-fun-in-before-school-starts plan, we picked blueberries this week. So much fun. Blueberries grow on these huge bushes and they're way easy to pick. I learned that my family can eat 3.5 pounds of blueberries in three days flat.

I live in the suburbs, but Nashville is not that big a city. So, while I can make it downtown in 15 minutes, ten minutes in the other direction can put me in the middle of nowhere.  The farm we visited was not far, but there is this one spot on the way there where the road makes a right hand turn under the railroad tracks. The tunnel under the tracks is only wide enough for one car. You can't see anything, so you have to roll down your window, honk your horn, take your life into your own hands and drive through. I find it terrifying.

But fresh blueberry muffins are so totally worth risking my life for. Mmm.

School starts tomorrow for Jack. He's "a little excited and a little nervous."  Third grade. I can't believe he's in third grade. Kindergarten doesn't start full time till August 28, so I still have a couple of weeks before Sam is gone all day and the next phase of my life begins. The phase where I might actually get something done.

I think I'm a little excited and a little nervous about that.
