Eurotrip: 5th stop - Munich

July 12 (Sunday)
Got up super early to get everything down to the luggage room and get some breakfast. Then we slept the entire bus ride (ooh! aah!). We got to Munich around 3PM (the Wombat Hostel there has a picture of the FSM behind the counter!) and went off exploring before Alena got in.
Turned out it was the GAY PRIDE DAY! Hah! so we hung out there for a bit and continued onwards! Good thing it was Sunday because OMG would we have shopped! (we completely fell in love with the pretty pretty lederhosen but maaaaan were they expensive!) Once 4:30PM rolled around we made our way back to hostel and met up with Alana! we went back to the city center and got tri-colored cotton candy (because what's a gay pride without multi-colored cotton candy and gingerbread hearts?). Then wandered some more (I mean, we knew beforehand that Disney stole their castle from there but then we discovered that they plagiarised the ENTIRE place!).
Then Hila went back to the hostel to sleep due to her cold-illness-whatever (it's all the dying Australians on the bus, I say) and I wandered around with Alena some more.
Then around 8ish we all got back together and went and went to find a restaurant that served white sausages - a typical Bavarian dish. We went to a restaurant where the food was AMAZING (OMG the honey mustard!) and the service was inversely proportional in quality (the fucking waiter kept bringing us the wrong order and he sucked). Then we got some awesome ice cream (which started the ice-cream obsession part of our trip)! And that made it all better!
Afterwards Hila went went back to the room and Alena and I talked for a bit. Finally we said our adieux and I got the comp and surfed the net for a bit before going to bed.
