the spider incident on Monday.

It wasn't until Thursday morning, when Metheus sent my flight itinerary, that I suspected the mystery of the spider was brought to light. I hadn't communicated my intentions clearly enough, and he had booked me a flight that had my return flight landing at 6:30pm on Thursday, which would make it virtually impossible to involve myself in the CSA pick-up, and complicate having me picked up at the airport.
.
It also meant there would be a sense of rush about my day after I got back. And, because he had favored long lay-overs and later flights due to an idea that I didn't enjoy waking up early to get to the airport, it meant my entire day would be consumed either at an airport or on an airplane. I could fly to Sunnyland in less time, I thought. Why would he choose that? Why didn't he call me to confirm the details before booking it?
.
I wrote Metheus a frustrated e-mail about it. To my astonishment, his own reply was kind and reasonable. I felt relieved. He wasn't going to be mad at me for being mad at him. Whew.
