"If you enjoy writing, you should write every day. You'll only get better." - Excellent advice which I am only now beginning to heed.

I'm trying to resurrect two somewhat similar novel ideas and combine the two in an easy attempt to add content and insight to things I've waited far too long to construct. I recently finished Ender's Game, and while I'm not much a fan of Sci-Fi, I enjoyed it immensely. It seemed as though Orson Scott Card didn't try to write Science Fiction, but instead wrote about people in unique situations. I only picked it up after somebody asked me if the story I was writing was meant to be written in the same style. I didn't know what she meant at the time, but now I'm honored to have my work compared to his.

I cut my hair again today. It never fails. My head looks gigantic to me. Maybe it is gigantic. I mean, I can't wear hats.

At least the weather is gorgeous. I swear, I've never felt such wonderful Summer weather. It isn't too humid or hot. It's perfect. It makes everything smell fantastic, and I just want to walk in it forever. Maybe I'll fix one of my bikes and see the progress on the trail that they're building to St. Augustine.
