Lovely Thursday morning
Ahh... the beauty of glistening skin, covered in a light mist of sweat.
Well... that's how we were when we had to move back into the refurbished staffroom. Thanks to our interior designer , the NUT, she chose a lovely light peach/salmon colour. And finally! our tiles are now non-slip.
I am actually lucky that I have co-operative teachers. When push comes to shove, they put their shoulders and backs in and moved the furniture around. Kudos to my male teachers who did not grumble as we ladies decided where the furniture should go. (Trust me. We moved the furniture around a lot)
I left the staff to put the final touches in the staffroom as I headed off to the hall with my NUT and two other teachers.It was time to give out the Academic and CCA prizes. I told my colleague that I would give a round of applause if the second half of the events started on time cos we gave the kids a break and told them to be back by 10. I managed to save my hands cos we didn't start until half past.
After the awards, we went back to the staffroom and I started to get rid of all the junk I had accumulated. It was a lot , a lot of junk!
There are a few more finishing touches for tomorrow. I will take more pics of my lovely staffroom and put them up tomorrow.
(Hehe, I have to show how beautiful my place is cos I am so envious of ButterflyAngel's new place!)
