How aren't they real? [falls and narrowly misses a slash from Tsubaki] Nothing about this is fa--

[the long shadow-scarf whips around and pierces through his chest. Black*Star gasps, his eyes cloud over, and he slumps to the floor.

A few minutes later he reappears on his bed with a start, and only instinct lets him dodge an attack that slices a gash through his bed]

THE HELL IS GOING ON?!

[Oliver gasps, cringing as Black*Star is caught by the attack, but the minute he wakes back up in his bed, Oliver knows this is their chance]

I told you--it's an illusion. Everyone's seeing something they're afraid of. But it can't follow you out of the room, so get out of there!

How is this an illusion if I get hurt? [dodges another attack and gets a good kick in on his other!self, only to go flying as he apparently kicks himself. Crashes into the door and jumps to his feet, and tries to open it if only to give him more fighting room]

...What the? [oh right, no barcode] I can't get out of the room!

Okay, I get it! I'm hurrying! [bursts out the stairway door, fishing in his backpack for that screwdriver so he can pry the door open. he's becoming a bit of an expert at this]
