i am full
the past week has been good times.. wednesday me and andrea skipped out of sex psych at the break because he was talking about research methods. BORRRRRINGGGGGGG. I forgot to do the "sexual scavenger hunt" that our prof assigned us, and i think it's due tomorrow at some point. Seeing as it's just for bonus marks, I'm not going to bother this time. Anyway, got home msgs from dave saying he couldnt' come up to london b/c both his parents' cars broke, so they needed his. Long story short, sarah suggested i go get him, so that's exactly what i did. I'm so glad he agreed b/c i had a wicked weekend in London. Wed nite we got home pretty late and i was going to the gym in the morning, so we just went to bed. Thursday after the gym and my classes, me, dave, donna, christine, adam and kathleen went for dinner at mongolian grill.. mmm. Then dave and I went for a drive, had a coffee, etc.. and caught up. Friday we went shopping after sleeping in nice and late, went to Michelle's to pre-drink and celebrate her roommate's bday, and then a slew of us headed to the ceeps. I had a good time at the ceeps. I used to hate it there but ever since last year i've enjoyed myself every time. Saturday... slept in again, and then we both did some homework until about 6.. made dinner.. then went to demetre's and made ourselves ridiculously full on belgian waffles. That was stupid - we had a huge dinner before. I think i'm still full from saturday night. After demetre's we coudln't decide what to do.. so we rented Gladiator with intention of stopping by christina's pub for a drink and to say hi to kathleen, and then going home to watch it. But after Christina's Pub, we decided to go to the Phoenix instead. Quickly stopped in at home to change, and then went in the back of the phoenix like true italians (him, me not so much) and stayed there until the club closed. Thennnn we tried to watch Gladiator but i was falling asleep, so we went to bed and watched the rest sunday before I drove him home. Last night i basically did work and watched football, and tonight i will do the same.
Today i started at Parkwood Rehab Hospital with stroke patients. It was interesting... there was a lady who had had an aneurysm 2 days after giving birth.. so she was probably only in her twenties. There was another guy that couldnt/ have been more than 35 or so. But the rest were elderly patients, and they were FUNNY. one woman had a whole lotta attitude and apparently 'faked people out' from her wheelchair. Another guy can't hear at all but he's one of those cute old men that you see walkin around in the park with their cute old wives.
Oh, picked up Dave's solo album, and it's fantastic. I also started listening to Norah Jones again.. i hadn't listened to it in a looonnng time, but it's still good. This week I am only going to listen to norah jones and dave matthews. We'll see how that works out.
Reallly gonna try to update more often. Maybe that will be my october resolution.
