Pink Floyd's Pulse DVD gets released here tomorrow...FINALLY! I'm pretty excited about that.
Weekend was a'ight. Some of my former housies are goons though. One in particular made an entire Nickelback CD and played it at their party. Apparently this was a joke, and for the first half of one of the songs I did find it amusing. He was there singing his lungs out, with a couple of other people. Then the next song came on, a few people dropped away after about 5 songs, when he was the only person stil singing I started to think that maybe he actually really loves Nickelback. He knows all the words of all the songs!
As much as I dislike listening to Nickelback, at least it's harmless fun. One of the other guys is just a negative jerk and can't seem to say anything positive. No matter what it is he has something critical to say about it. I feel for people like that. It's so much more better being positive. A couple of my friends and I were playing with a soccer ball, just kicking goals, passing and all that. Our other friend was on the balcony, jeering and critisising every pass that went astray or every goal missed. So whenever he said something negative, I'd make sure I would reply to him with a positive statement about what a good guy he is. I think he actually got a little upset by it. Funny.
