The Student One-Acts went well...a fun time was had by all. As I've stated elsewhere, "tights get great updrafts."

Had the opportunity to see Grindhouse a second time (rushed out to Lancaster to meet with Brian and Emily), though I missed the first 15 minutes or so of Planet Terror.

Saw Vacancy last week, which is a surprisingly effective, short ( Read more... )

Actually, I was talking with a co-worker (an older woman who got her degree here, actually), and she said I didn't have to bother going to graduation practice. And personally, I'd rather not. The horror-story of graduation itself is sitting and waiting for it to be over--and I'm at the ass end of the alphabet, to boot. I may hang around a little bit afterward to talk with professors, but everyone else can suffer through the post-grad banquet...

That's a shame you haven't seen Grindhouse yet...I'd say if you can find a theater--any theater--within driving distance, go see it. As an aside, however, it will be playing at my college in September, so there's another option...ha! I do think it was pretty unfair that it was dumped from the local theaters (around here) after only 3 weeks.

While I haven't seen/heard much about most of the upcoming summer films, I really like the trailer for Ocean's 13 (even though I haven't seen the previous two).

And no, I haven't gotten a damn computer yet. My dad has offered to help me toward purchasing a new one as a graduation gift, something I will definitely be taking advantage of...I'd hate to turn into one of those losers who uses the public library to check his e-mail.

As for the hotel situation, you might be able to find something cheap, but that probably means you'll have to drive further to the Marriott.

I went to the bank today and actually browsed Target for a potential replacement, but the costs exceeded my checking balance (that, and I don't know if what they had is exactly what I want/need). I'm definitely going to be shopping around in the coming days for a new CPU...I'd also like to hit the local used-CD store, which I haven't been to in ages.
