Fiercely stormy overnight.
My 11.30am flight is cancelled. Plane is stuck in Christchuch where it's snowing.
1.30pm flight cancelled, planes still can't get out of Christchurch and it seems I, myself, got out just in time.
Settled for 4.00pm flight to Auckland.
Dad has to drive there to pick me up.
Not a good day.

Finally home after a rather trying 9 hour experience with air travel today.
Snow in Christchurch totally disrupted travel in Wellington, and most likely in other places throughout the country.

I felt like I was chasing my luggage around the airport all afternoon.

Spend the morning at Te Papa - LOTR Exhibition. 3 hours.
2.00pm screening of ROTK at the Embassy.
So windy - got blown all over the place while walking to Te Papa and the Embassy.
Still swaying from the train, etc. but okay during the movie.
Staying in my hotel room tonight because it's too wet and wild outside ...

Wow - the wind is really howling, I hope I'll be able to get to sleep tonight.
It's been incredibly windy all day.  The city is living up to its "Windy Wellington" moniker.  I got blown all about while walking to and from Te Papa and the Embassy today.
