Saturday was our 11 year anniversary. I can't believe we've been together that long. It is hard to imagine a time when we weren't together, but simultaneously it just seems like the time has flown by. I am very fortunate to have him in my life. That is one thing I would never change.
Celebrating didn't include much other than hanging out and shopping all day. We did go to a swanky restaurant for dinner. The food and drinks were wonderful. Yum! I wish we could dine like that every weekend. We had a very animated conversation about videogame systems and the future of Nintendo. It was very odd and the tables around us obviously thought we were on something. I enjoyed every minute of it. I love how we can talk about random shit anywhere. Post dinner activities were very enjoyable as well.
The rest of the week has been very quiet. Work has definitely been ....well, work. I'm really looking forward to a 3 day weekend. I need to get out of this job, but I can't find anything comparable that pays as good. If this position offered benefits and more security I would stay forever. It's the not knowing if I'll have a job next week that is killing me.
Tonight we are going to Salem's to watch LOST. I can't wait. It will be great to watch a fuzz-free Finale. I have a feeling it is going to be a long summer filled with a lot of 'WTF?!?!' being spewed randomly. Should be great!
