update
Damn...man...haven't updated in a while.
But anyways...I went on vacation for Xmas like 3 weeks ago...i come back...and poof, Rick joins Moana. Empty M is done. We sucked anyways. The way i found out we were done was so...painful. This is how it went down:
Me: So Rick...sup, um..how is a Mon..ey, going?
Rick: Moana. Actually, we sound really really good!
(Note: Rick said that he just wanted to play with them sometimes...yeah.)
Me: Oh, uh ok...
---------------- (That was one convo, but this one hurt)
Me: Hey Rick...practice Thursday OK? (4 Empty M)
Rick: Um..no I can't, our PA system is coming in on thursday. (Note: SHOT DOWN RIGHT ON THE SPOT)
Me: Oh...awesome. (Exit stage Right)
Yeah. Rick isn't someone I would rely on to stay in a band. I mean we sucked, but he was always the one who boasted "Im gonna stab the first person to quit the band." He pulled a Jason ( He was't feelin' it )
So I was pissed, but I looked to the better of it. Since I DO plan on going to college, I am going to devote my time now to SAT preparation. Steve is gonna do the same. I think college would give more of a definate future rather than killing myself in a band. As a hobby, its fine...to actually use it toward a future is hard, especially at these times, where almost every song you think you made up, has already been done, or close to done by better musicians who know how to play. BIG competition in the types of Rock. There are already so many out there.
Other than that. Empty M is done, and I have a lot of webspace with 5gb transfer per month. I need ideas on how to utilize this 24/7 host.
I think I will start by taking off the Empty M site.
