I was informed by a friend who currently works for your company that a position will be opening soon in the Sheet Metal department. Markus Expendable tells me that you are looking for a qualified Plasma Cutter operator with programming and MASTERcam experience.
My background includes seven years of plasma and laser cutting machine operation. Experience includes direct operational experience with the modern High Density Multi-Gas plasma cutters and the new diode-type laser systems. This experience includes machine MRO work as well as setup and programming along with steady-state operation.
In addition I have experience across all phases of sheet-metal work including turret-punch operation, press brake setup and operation, PEM inserting and assembly. I can TIG weld, grind, polish and operate most common tool-room equipment such as mills and lathes.
Most importantly I can read and interpret most forms of mechanical drawing and develop flat blank layouts. I also use various CAD and CAM programs such as Solid-Works, Sketchup, Auto-CAD, BoBCam, and MasterCAM. I am certified in Solid-Works and MasterCAM and will present my credentials at an interview.
Quality in our profession comes starts at the blanking stage. Without qualified professional operators at the controls all the downstream processes will yield scrap.
