I haven't read the new Astonishing, but I've been a little dubious about it ever since the "Danger" story arc. It's just a little too weird for me.

However, I'm excited to hear that there's a new Silver Surfer story arc. I wasn't sure what they were going to do after JMS's Requiem. And I wasn't sure if that was going to be mainline canon or what.

I'd like to put in a request for a Brave New game where Silver Surfer would be an appropriate character. "Your bullets are meaningless to one who has flown among asteroids in interstellar space!"

The Danger story arc was the only one so far that disappointed me. I think this arc is pretty solid.

My comic peddler dealer tells me that Requiem is a good read. Would you second that?

Generally, yes. It is overall good, but it is strongest in the first couple issues. His interaction with Spider-Man is deeply moving. Leaving earth and the wrap up? A bit more disappointing.
