Okay, the rest of the winners:
best fiction book (comic or prose): I bought three of the Girl Genius volumes. Damn they're great!
best thing I never would have thought to buy: actually didn't buy, it was a freebie: some band was handing out their CD on the streetcorner. Didn't get a chance to listen to them play live (never made it to the pub) but I like the CD
the best overall find of the convention (purchased or freebie): a giant Mythbusters loot bag.
I have one more day to do some damage. I doubt I'll find anything else I want, but you never know. And I have to cough up $100 for next year's con in case my pro badge isn't renewed. So we'll see.
