dear gods of healthcare UPDATED
okay, fine, I get it, whatever it was I did to piss you off, I'm sorry. Now can we stop with this fricking cough that makes me sneeze and throw up and cough up buckets of flegm for ten minutes at a time? Please? I'm only 11 days into the year and I've already racked up 2 attendance points for being out at work.
Cuz god knows the doctors I go to aren't giving me any good advice. I've gone through Mucinex, Clairitin, an inhaler, and now Zyrtec trying to figure this out. It's got to be an allergy but I can't figure out what's triggering it, I can never reproduce the conditions to set off an attack. Thank god it's not kittehs, that would be a big game over. But come on. Three months of this is enough. Either make it go away or find me a doctor who is worth what he paid to go through medical school, huh?
UPDATE: I had such a bad reaction to the Zyrtec (and by bad I mean scary, can't go to work for two days, coughing and throwing up all the time, may as well not take anything - that kind of bad) that I stopped it and went back to Claritin, which is much better but still not perfect. At least I slept through the night and didn't wake up unhappy. Still a little cough between big ones. Wonder if Claritin D would be better? Do I need a perscription? Guess I should start looking...
