Simon, part deux
So, okay, little guy knows how beds work, and to lay down next to you and not walk all over you while you're trying to sleep. I'm a super light sleeper so I only managed about 5 hours, but not because of him.
Also, they sent him home here with a neon orange fur mousie and that is his favorite toy of all, although I got out the basket of toys and he's kind of happy with anything out of it. Also, loves to go fishing with the cat fishing pole. Very active, but again, not hyperactive. My kind of cat. We're watching the sun rise right now. Or I am, he's playing in the next room. So far he's really good, no problems with him at all.
On the other hand, Duchy is pissed. I mean PISSED. Not just at him, hissing and growling whenever he's around... she's hissing at ME too. And she's never done that. I know eventually she'll settle down but I'm trying to reassure her, but she won't let me near her without growling. The little guy is staying out of her way mostly but it's not that big of an apartment, so, it's hard to stay completely away. I think he's a very social cat and wants to be around her. I just have to hope she warms up to him (or at least stops with the growling).
So, I guess it's back to wearing earplugs at night, at least for awhile.
