so tonight i went to my first club! okay, well technically, my first club was barbacoa breeze, but that was for ksig's 10:01, so i don't think that really counts. i hadn't actually known it was a club. but yeah tonight (well...last night/this morning) was my first official visit to a club. yes...i went to the grad! and it was GREAT! okay, so marissa l called me earlier today and asked me what i was doing tonight (which was awesome because i've been a home body for a while, plus i've been hella needing to hang out with some chi delts...duh!) and asked me if i wanted to go to the grad...and of course i was hesistant because altho country music is starting to grow on me, i wasn't sure if i wanted to spend a lot of time listening to country music and line dancing...so i told her i'd think about it. well i decided to go, and i'm so happy i did! lisa, her bf jeff, and marissa came to pick me up, and we drove out to davis, got there at about 11:30 or so. when we got there, they played a song with an easy dance, so lisa, marissa, and i went up, and marissa taught me the moves. it was fairly simple, which was good. and then we started off on the next song which was a little more complicated, but still fun. and then we all sat down. and after a bit, marissa and lisa got back up to do more of the complicated dances, which was hella awesome to watch everyone doing them. and then they played some hip hop songs, and a mix of grease songs. then the country came back on, and after a few more complicated dances, marissa showed me another dance. and that's all i did because a lot of them are pretty tough. oh...i tried one more, but the song wasn't long enough for me to learn it. but i'm definately going to be going back when i have some chi delts to join me. i hella wanna learn the other dances! and i wanna spend more time there! it was just so much fun and i loved it so much! then afterwards we headed to denny's and got some food. i got back home at about 3. it was an awesome night! oh, and marissa and i are havin dinenr thurs. i just love their family line. let's see, i think leah t. was the one to come to michele's b4 retreat, then charlane was one of the alum i had an opal with, and she loves to read like me, and she's very nice. then lauren is so awesome! she's the one who talked to me the entire time i got blood drawn. and i miss her so much! then of course her lils are marissa and leia. and ever since the end of my delphia semester, marissa's been one of my favorites. and of course leia is just someone everyone should respect and i do, and it was great getting to know her better when we had lunch. and marissa's lil is olivia who is so sweet and helped me with the whole lerrer-sorority fiasco. and i helped her at AE back in jan. and then there's alma, my pledge sis who's so funny and dresses so well. and of course marissa s. who was emily's roomie for 2nd semester. so yeah, they're all awesome! i know more of their family than i do mine! jamie-->celia &me-->heather & stacy-->sophia (who i'll never meet) --> jodi (never met)-->michelle (never met) anyways, yup, THE GRAD WAS FUN AND I LIKE COUNTRY MUSIC!
