So now that my housing is sorted, sort of, my brother and sister are moving out. They'll be living together in Metula with all the dogs. I went to see the apartment they're going to live in today. Mom finished arranging the house (expect one room, I think) at 3am this morning, then pormptply went to bed. The kicker? Late last night they found out that the guy they rented the house from is not allowed to rent out the house since he owes city hall large sums of money, so they might have to move. Went out yesterday with a friend and saw Spiderman 3. Great special effects but I see why it's been getting bad reviews. Too many plot lines not working together. The whole movie looks forced. But great special effects (Sand Man!). Also bought a shirt for 80 instead of 300, and it has sleeves (!) It was a great day out ( Read more... )

My parents were in a car accident.

Obviously they survived, but what shook me up was that it was 24 hours before mom thought to call me, a whole night and day in which they could have been dead, or lay dying, and I had no idea. I thought I would know, somehow feel it when mom, at least, was in pain, but... nothing ( Read more... )
