One of my oldest friends just sent me an email saying she would be swinging by HK in April and was wondering if we could meet up there. So we checked our airmiles and it looks like we will have enough to cover a return trip for Akari and I. My husband and I went on a trip to Fukuoka this weekend for a wedding. One last trip before the summer holidays finish... And boy, was it a good one!

Just got back from a roadtrip north to Koriyama, in Fukushima prefecture. It was my first time to the Tohoku (Northern Honshu) region. Our car is now covered with bug splattage and my camera memory card is full. (^_^) We went for a wedding (one of my husband's friends) but I'm showing only the "quirky Japan" pics I took there.
