[Spoilers for 5x04]I agree with most of my f-list- last ep wasn't as awesome as the previous eps this season. Stuff I haven't said already in comments or on tumblr

If he started from the start with the journals, then there's no way Katherine doesn't rate a mention. But it's implied he had, when he's talking with Damon in the car, right? Like maybe they are saving it for when they meet, but for me it was a big plothole. Although it could very well be part of the Stefan/Elena game, haha. The more GIFsets I see of Elena's delight in amnesia!Stefan, the more I think this is the implication. LOL
OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG *FLAIL* STOP, REWIND, WATCH, STOP, REWIND, WATCH, STOP, REWIND, YOU GET THE PICTURE.
LOL My liveblog was like:
God this is unbelievable why isn't Bonnie at her own funeral and it's all about their pain and she has zero voice besides comfort- OMG TYLER
ZOMGZOMG TYLERTYLERTYLER HOW DID WE NOT KNOW??? TYLERRRRRRR
*refreshes dash madly to 'like' all the TYLEEERRR BB WE MISSED YOUUUUU posts and reblog the first TC GIFs ASAP*
Yes, these are my priorities. LOL
I really think this varies. From personal experience, girls in my high-school/college friendship group who are now raising children are treated FAR MORE "omg, wow, you are awesome" than those who aren't
Wow, that is so different from my experience! LOL Like, of all the girlfriends I grew up with (all upper middle class Chinese Canadians), I was the only one with kids until last year. XD Now there are two of us with kids.
It was no one's fault, and it wasn't unfair. It was nobody's fault, but the Universe crapping all over your plate with a busted up kid and a bumped surgery your first day back feels like some stacked odds to me! Especially when the other member of Team Parent defaults to Off Kid Duty instead of backing you up! He's been Zola's parent for at least a year now too- why is Meredith the only one who answers pages from daycare?
I think you're right though- it was just a set up for conflict with a jump right to a personal judgement after one episode instead of a "Hey, you are off your game today. Don't do it again." (At least, I don't think there was a gradual buildup of Mere having Mommy brain or being anything but badass surgeon until 10x05.)
LOL I know what you mean by Grey's anvils but I don't think so? I think it's just supposed to show that Alex can take two or even three steps forward but he has a tendency to take steps back too, especially when reminded of that abusive cycle. Like hello- Tyler Lockwood parallels!
