Summary : "If Arashi ever fight, we will break up." Will they really break up?
January is usually not a hard period for Arashi. By this time of the year, they usually have a lot of free times and days off for themselves compared to the end of the year. Usually contracts and offers will come a bit later and now they only work on the things they already in such as their usual bangumi. So, January is the time where Sakurai Sho will see his members less and to be honest, he is kind of missing them. Last month, he sees them almost every day and be with them almost the whole day. And earlier this month, they also have concert. So he is quite accustomed with the other four presence around him.
But the lesser they meet, the more precious the meeting will be. It is an unspoken rule of Arashi, when they miss each other, they will naturally be more abusive to each other. Well, the kind of sweet abuse, like, it is your fault that I miss you so much so let me harassed you more! So, when the members were behaving slightly different from usual, Sho thought that is because they missed him too, like he missed them. That thought makes Sho happy but somehow the weird behaviours are getting out of hand and reach a point where he just don’t understand why. Take today for example.
It is 1730, 25th January 2017. Sho arrived at their shared green room as usual. He is the last to arrive which is unusual because normally it is Aiba’s place to be the last.
“Masaki you are early!” he said. Aiba who was busy sliding his smartphone, looked up and flashed him his thousand watt smile.
“I woke up too early! In fact, I could not even sleep. You know, last night I dreamt of you guys! Ne, listen to me!” Aiba starts chirping with loud voice. Nothing new by the way but somehow Nino got annoyed with it.
“Oh, shut up Aiba! You are too loud!” Nino yelled angrily. Also nothing new, but Nino is never angry at Aiba. Well, not that angry at least. And usually Aiba will just shake it off by making another silly jokes of him and Nino will end up laughing along but today, Aiba suddenly fight back.
“I don’t care Ninomiya!” he answered, sarcastically. He doesn’t even look at Nino.
“Oh, you better care because this is a fuck*ng shared green room! If you cannot control your ugly voice, get the hell out of here!” Nino barked back.
“What did you say?” Aiba stood up from his chair and rushed towards Nino who also has raised from his chair. Aiba grabbed Nino by his collar and look at him straight in the eye. Now, this is new! Arashi never fought. Never!
“Stop it you two.” Sho tried to calm the pair but he was stopped by Matsujun.
“Let them be Sho-kun. Nino has been reasonable up till now. Aiba is very annoying. He deserves a punch or two.” Sho was shocked by the statement. Outsiders may have this image of Matsujun, where he will get mad about annoying people when actually he doesn’t. He usually have no problem with Aiba’s overly high spirit behaviour in their green room.
“You heard him! Everybody is tired of your silly stories. We are not even interested!” Nino shouted, straight to Aiba’s face. Aiba looks so shocked too but his grip on Nino’s collar is not changing.
“You think so Matsujun?” Aiba looked away from Nino and faced Matsujun now. Matsujun agreed.
“You think so riida?” when Aiba asked Ohno first, Sho is a bit relief as he know their leader will cool the situation.
“Yeah.” Ohno replied, sleepily, almost not caring. Sho’s eyes blinked in disbelief. Riida??
“And you Sho?” when Aiba asked him, he is panicking. Of course Aiba is annoying sometimes but he did not hate it. And sometimes, he found Aiba’s genkiness is good for building up tension for them to shoot. Watching him hesitated, Aiba makes his own judgement.
“Okay, since all of you don’t like me here, I am leaving! I’m not in mood of sharing a room with four idiots!” Aiba said, while heading to the door.
“Masaki wait!” Sho tries to stop him.
“Yeah, go ahead! We are better without you. And FYI, you are the stupid one here!” Said Matsujun. Sho can see Aiba’s eyes are tearing. He is so afraid now because they never been in this situation before. He cannot think of what to do, his Keio brain is not functioning. He only realize that Aiba has left the room when Nino called him out.
“Why are you still standing? Sit down.”
“But Masaki…”
“Let him be Sho-kun. He’ll come around.” Said leader.
“But he looked hurt.”
“We can’t babysit him all the time, can we? Plus, he needs to know that not everybody likes him!” Nino said, and Jun agreed along.
“Wait, you are not serious are you? You don’t like him? But you two are best friends.” Sho cannot believe his ears.
“Well, not anymore. I have grown up, he doesn’t! I am getting tired of him. Maybe we can suggest to Johnny-san to replace him with Toma.” Nino said.
“Yes, seriously! I think he is getting cocky since his solo is well accepted! He even steal my style in his performance. He should stay as the stupid one, which is his character! He shouldn’t be cool.” Added Matsujun. And what make Sho more shocked is when Ohno says this.
“I think it won’t hurt to change the members.”
“I vote for Toma.”
“Wait guys! Are you seriously kicking Aiba out because he is loud? We went as far as 17 years together. Come on!” Sho try to reason. The other three look at him. Matsujun crossed his arms in from of his chest and walked toward Sho.
“I think, you are being bias Sho-kun. Are you, by any chance, is in love with that idiot?” Matsujun asked, or rather judging.
“Are you even gay in the first place?” added Nino.
“Why, no! I’m not gay. But I do love Aiba. He is our friend. Don’t you love him too?”
“Get a hold on yourself Sho, we are just co-workers!”
“Since when? I thought we were friends? Riida?” Sho tries to seek for Ohno’s support. But the older man is just looking at him silently, his face shows no expression.
“Are you guys really? Okay, let’s calm down. I will go to find Aiba now. We will talk after filming okay.” He try to be rational but Nino provoked him.
“Ah, Sho-kun is trying to be a hero. Saving his fag partner from us. Go ahead you lover boy. I wonder what Aiba has given you? A blowjob?”
“Ninomiya! You don’t talk about your best friend like that!” Sho is very mad at Nino’s words. He wondered why he is acting like that. Usually anyone who badmouth Aiba will get a taste of his wrath.
“Oh yeah? Why can’t I? He acts like a gay anyway. Always too easy shedding tears! That damn bastard!” Nino continues his cursing. Sho lost his calm. He grabbed the collar of Nino’s shirt like Aiba did earlier.
“What you wanna do? Punch me? Trust me, you don’t have the balls to do it! Gay!” Nino’s provoking managed to anger Sho. It has been long since he was a short tempered man. But Nino is getting out of line. When he raised his fist to hit Nino’s face, his hand is held by Ohno.
“You dared touch him, I’ll kill you.” Ohno warned. He release Nino and turn to Ohno.
“So you are defending this brat? Aren’t you two the gay ones?” he asked back sarcastically.
“If we are, we are lot better than you and Aiba. Because none of us are stupid.” Sho have it enough. He pushed Ohno hard and the other felt on the flour. Just when he want to punch him, Matsujun hold him tight and the light went out. And then he heard happy birthday song playing and Aiba comes in with a cake lighted up with a lot of candles.
Matsujun release him and when the light is on again, he sees all his members gather around him. Aiba is holding a birthday cake, Nino, Ohno and Matsujun placed their hands around each other shoulder and they sway according to the melody. Now only he realized that the scene just now was planned! When the song finished, Aiba shoved the cake to his face, asking him to blow the candles.
“Happy birthday Sho-chan!” Aiba said, followed by the others. Sho blinks in shocked.
“Gomen ne Sho-chan, I didn’t mean anything I said earlier.” Nino said, showing his cute puppy face.
“Yeah, me too Sho-kun. I just played the role they gave me.” Riida confessed.
“It is to celebrate your birthday so you cannot be mad okay?” Matsujun flashed his charming smile.
“I…uh, Thanks? Ah, but tell me, who planned all this?”
“We all did. Nino and Jun planned the acting part, riida planned the gift and I planned the cake.” Said Aiba, proudly. Ohno then brings out a box nicely wrapped in red and gives it to him.
“Happy birthday Sho-kun.” They all wish again. Aiba puts down the cake and grabs his members into a group hug. Sho feels his eyes watering. When Ohno pats his head, he finally cried. He is very happy. He is 36 already this year but his friends still planned something to celebrate his birthday. The overwhelmed feeling is rushing through him, he cannot stop his tears.
“I love you guys!” he confessed.
“Ewwww, that is so gay!” Nino squeals. Aiba and Matsujun quickly turn to the cake to take the cream and smear it to Sho’s face!
“Sho-chan has something sticky and white on his face!! What is it HUH??” Aiba asked, smirking.
“Talk about gay!” Ohno and Matsujun said in unison. They all laughed as hard as they can at the red-as-tomato Sho.
“You guys, are the worst bandmates ever!” Sho shouted as he attempt to return the smearing but Aiba is faster to take away the cake. The five men chases each other around the green room, forgetting their shooting. Oh, wait! There are no shooting that day in the first place. They just complotted with Sho’s manager to manipulate his schedule a bit. Not a hard work, nobody says no to Arashi anyway.

This is the #forSho project which is supposed to consist of four drables (sakuraiba, sakumiya, sakumoto and yama) but I failed to write it all so I just combined the plot and make it one oneshot.
Thanks to Fatin and Ai-chan who gave me wonderful ideas for the plot, I managed to post on time. Well, a bit late than scheduled but hey, its still the first hour of the 25th, soooooo XP
