"OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH!!" There was a minor freak out going on within Anya. She was a mix of crazy emotions, though that wasn't exactly out of the normal, but right now she was freaking out because THE GAME! RIGHT NOW! STARTING SOON!!

She couldn't sit still. She was all geared up but rather than sitting on a bench and waiting patiently like some of her teammates, or doing more stretches, she was jumping about, shaking her hands at her side in order to release some of her already overwhelming load of adrenaline.

"Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh...."

J.J. wasn't so much anxious as he was excited, or at least that's what he allowed himself to show. He was pumped for this game. He could feel the adrenaline and was excited. He just wanted to get on the bloody pitch already and start warming up. Or at least just fly around.

Because the sooner they got on that pitch? The sooner the game started.

And the sooner he got away from Anya's freak out which, while amusing, was NOT good for the rest of the team. Especially since most were newbies. But he wasn't about to be the one to stop her especially if he might be able to prove she was finally mental enough so he could be vice captain. Besides, he knew she would probably bloody kick his arse if he tried to calm her down a bit right now.

"Gearing up? Are you ready?" He asked Tegan, while still eyeing Anya kinda strangely.

Tegan was thankfully not hyperventilating, but was sitting on the bench and kind of just staring at nothing. To say she was scared and nervous would have been an understatement, but the one good thing about her was that she knew how to contain such feelings. Perhaps she looked a little more pale than usual, but she was pale to begin with so you could never be too sure. And though her stomach was tied in a million knots, she wasn't about to go throw up or anything.

It really didn't help that Anya was over in that corner spazzing about, but what could you do? Everyone handled this type of thing differently so she wasn't going to blame the girl.

She cleared her throat when JJ came over to her, trying to smile but unsure whether her lips actually got that far or not, "Um. Ready? Sure, I guess." She laughed nervously before shaking her head slightly, realizing she needed to be confident, "I mean, yes! Yes, I am." This time her grin was much more believable. "What about you?

Derek wasn't nervous or anything. Nope, he was the picture of calm. EXCEPT WHERE THE BLOODY HELL WAS HIS THIRD CHASER? Pacing back and forth in what little space there was to pace, Derek tried to keep breathing.

"Has no one seen Ruth Ann?" Oh Merlin. He felt ill. Why had he picked her for the team again?

Hannah was surprisingly zen today. Her mind wasn't exactly on Quidditch, though, so when Derek mentioned Ruth Ann, she simply glanced around and shrugged. That was, until she looked at Derek.

"Um, I have not seen her," she said as she frowned. What kind of player didn't show up for a game? Oh dear.

Lia glanced around the locker room, then gave Derek a Look.

"Are you serious?" she asked. "She isn't here?" Obviously she wasn't, or they wouldn't be looking for her. She turned to Cassie, hoping that, since the youngest two members of the team seemed to be friends, that she'd know where Ruth Ann was.

"Uhhh, Cassie?" Lia tried, attempting to stay calm. "Have you seen Ruth Ann at all?"

Jul sat in the stands rather excited for the game, it was cloudy and a little cold but she thought that it was really good conditions for a game (better than hers had been at least).

She played with the hufflepuff badge Anya had given her and pinned it onto her gryffindor scarf. Anya seemed to be one of the few people that refused to let her become a hermit in the gryffindor tower so she figured she'd cheer for her mate on her first game.

Becky was just chillin in the stands, not really excited about the game other than the fact that her house was up. She wasn't bothered to care whether they won or not, though she was a big supporter of Derek and hoped that the team would do well enough so that he wouldn't be gloomy about the results and think he was a bad captain or something. Plus she had other friends on the team and for their sakes hoped that they came out with a victory.
