Personality:
Em is a bit of a tomboy, and is very excitable. She’s a real child at heart and loves nothing more than going outside and running around. This may be due to her somewhat sheltered childhood, which was made up mostly of elitist parties where she wasn’t allowed to do anything unless she was told to.
She’s a pureblood but doesn’t discriminate against anybody. She’ll talk to anybody but her mood can change drastically at the slightest thing, causing her to become somewhat standoffish. While she does like making friends, she’s often found alone outside, enjoying alone time, and the beauty of nature, although she doesn’t usually mind people intruding upon this ‘alone time’.
Strengths: Both magical and personality:
Magically, Em’s strengths lie in her wandwork. She excels most at Charms and Transfiguration for this reason. She’s relatively alright at handling plants and remembering things, which makes her rather good at Herbology. Her good memory also attributes to her average marks for History of Magic and D.A.D.A (where the professor often asks pointless questions which test your memory.)
Personality wise, Em is most proficient in her loyalty and friendship skills. Em would never betray a friend, even if she’s angry at them. She’s easy to befriend as well, and she doesn’t listen to rumours about other students, so she has no prejudice when speaking to them for the first time. She is also a good listener, and likes to be used as a shoulder to cry on, when needed.

Magically, Em is terrible at theory work, as well as slow moving projects or tasks. Essays are the bane of her existence, as she really doesn’t care about them, and finds herself at a loss for words. However, this does usually result in her imagination expanding as she makes up words or adjectives to fill up spare space. Em also finds subjects such as Astronomy and Divination almost the same, and just as boring and unexciting as each other. She plans to drop these as soon as possible, as she couldn’t care less about the stars and what they hold for her future. She has similar terrible results for Potions, but for different reasons. She finds her slight carelessness and clumsiness dramatically accentuated in Potions, causing too many spilt concoctions and melted cauldrons for a good mark.
Personality wise, Em’s main problem is her mood swings. Many people find that one wrong move or slip of the tongue causes results in an icy reception from Emily. She also has a tendancy to hold a grudge, which can cause some break ups in friendships and other relationships.

Em has a fear of her loved one’s dying or losing a friend, whether it be to death, or just because they travelled somewhere else. She also has a slightly linked fear of Voldemort and Death Eaters, because of their power to destroy anything in their path, and the fact that they can infiltrate any organisation, or school, and that she could be associating with a Death Eater at Hogwarts.

At 8 years old, Her parents realised that their child wasn’t coming out of her shell much and was very reserved, so they moved to London, where they settled in an apartment. Em was home schooled by her mother until the age of 11, when she received the letter from Hogwarts.

Ben - Em’s father. Em gets along quite well with Ben, although they have their disputes. As a young child, she was what you might call a ‘daddy’s girl’.
Serlait Archer - Em’s cousin. Em is extremely close to Serli, especially since Serli moved to Hogwarts.
Leon Archer - Em’s cousin. Em hasn’t seen Leon for some years, but saw him as role model when she was younger.
Lotye Archer - Em’s cousin. Lotye is much like Em in many ways, which irritates Em to an extent, but Em loves her like a sister.

"What the hell...?" Em looked down and raised an eyebrow at the boy below her. What was his name? Oh yes, Tobias... Tobias Kinsella.
She rolled her eyes and looked up again. She gave a sly smile and uncrossed her legs, before crossing them again. She grinned as she felt her foot collide with something, hopefully Tobias's face.
