EXTENDED APPLICATION
Personality: Keegan is very shy around lots of people and even is slightly afraid of being in large crowds because he grew up on an island that has a population of roughly 800 people. He loves to read and learn things about the past, mostly history and mythology. There isn’t a lot Keegan doesn’t know about the main mythologies. He’s very shy and would prefer to be in the library reading than somewhere else. Keegan would never tell anyone but he also likes to sing, mostly traditional Irish songs. Keegan is innocent, not really understanding what true violence really is. He doesn’t understand what true hatred is either, so people like pureblood elitists confuse him very much. He’s shy and therefore has a hard time making friends, more likely to stick with books.
Strengths: Keegan doesn’t really have much magical strength. Personality-wise, Keegan is a very kind person. He’s a sharp and dedicated learner and always does well in the theory part of classes. Keegan also has a very good memory.
Weaknesses: Keegan doesn’t do so good with the practical part of classes, the actual doing of magic. He does alright but it’s nothing extraordinary. He’s very shy, having a hard time making friends and interacting with other people. He also doesn’t really understand the way the world really works.
Fears: Keegan had a very sheltered upbringing so he is not used to being around loads of people. He used to get very anxious being around crowds but now after getting used to eating in the Great Hall, he only gets anxious around fast-moving crowds.
History: Keegan has three older brothers, an older sister, and a younger sister. Most of his family lives on the island of Inishmore of the Aran Islands of Ireland. Keegan has only been to the mainland about ten times in all his life and misses being surrounded by the sea at Hogwarts. Keegan’s parents aren’t very rich but they have enough money to live comfortable. His family hardly has anything electronic, believing the kids should be out and about outside instead of playing video games and the like. Keegan is very close to his closest in age brother and younger sister. His oldest brother is an adult and lives on his own, while the next oldest picks on him a lot. His older sister wants to be an author and spends most of her time alone, writing something or another. Keegan can speak fluent Irish and English.
Physical Description: Keegan is of average height and build for someone his age. He has blond hair and light blue eyes. He's got pale skin that is slightly tan from being outside a lot. His eyes aren't perfect so he has reading glasses. When he's not wearing his school outfit, Keegan always dresses casual. He hates dressing up for anything. He basically wears plain white shorts with a t-shirt and hooded jacket just in case it's a little too chilly. In the cold weather, he wears loose pants with a t-shirt and hooded jacket again, but he often pulls on a traditional Aran Island sweater in the winter time. He always wears socks and sneakers for shoes. He doesn't feel comfortable in anything else.
