Mod Announcement!

Jul 22, 2006 23:32

This is going to be a long one, so go make yourself a nice drink, sit down, relax.

You comfortable?

Good.

Today we will be discussing two different matters (don't worry, no one is in trouble, it's just giving you the heads up) the first is about a timetable for the students, and the second is about getting an additional mod.

I'll go to the easiest-to-explain one first: We need a timetable that applies to all of the student and teacher characters. We already have one, but we want to make sure that it's the one that the players like best (as you are all affected by it). To ensure that it is the best possible timetable, we invite everyone to submit your own model (of seven different timetables, from years 1-7) before next Sunday, where we will then hold a vote.

Things to keep in mind are:
•To allow as-close-to equal time to each class
•To make your own decision about whether to separate the houses (if they are separated in the timetable, they will be separated in the class threads)
•That although we love canon, the main use of the timetable is to let you know when to play out the consequence of an in-class event outside of the classroom.

So all the best of luck for that, please submit your timetables HERE by next Sunday.

And now onto the next topic! The mods have decided that we need an additional mod, this mod would probably be an all-rounder, so we're not looking for anyone who is experienced in any particular area... but we are looking for someone reliable, who all of you think would be a great mod.

This mod will be selected by a public vote on their anonymous application, and a mod discussion on the outcomes of that vote. There are an awful lot of players, and an awful lot of people who have a wonderful amount of potential, so we encourage everyone to apply.

Well, I italicised it but I'm not certain that it will do much good, I could make a rainbow marquee, or I could just set all of you onto them- tell anyone who you think has potential, to please apply. As in beg them, and bug them, and let them know that you want them on the officials team.

Once someone has decided to apply, they should fill in the application below:

Goodluck everyone, if you have a question don't be afraid to ask it in a reply to this entry (all comments are screened).
