Taylor stretched his arms as he walked down the hallway. He still hadn't woken up from this morning. He still didn't understand why what he had done was all that bad, but girls were usually sacks full of emotions, right?
He spotted a bench by the opening of a main hall and decided he would take a quick nap. Who cared if anyone passing by could catch him with his guard down. He didn't have that many enemies... right? He clutched his bag and shut his eyes.

Great, when did her bag get so heavy?
Anora struggled to find the right spot on her shoulder to put the strap so she could walk in a straight line without being weighted down. It was like some huge anchor pulling her down to the depths of the floor. Finally, she found a *somewhat* comfortable position close-ish to her neck.
She almost didn't see Taylor sprawled out on a nearby bench, but pausing a moment near the bench to adjust the strap once more, she spotted him. Grinning, she tried to be quiet, because it looked like he was sleeping. Odd place to take a nap, she thought, but with a roommate like Boyko? She would probably take to sleeping on benches.
Kneeling down close to where his head was, she ran a hand through his hair. "Busy weekend?" she asked softly, not wanting to give him a heart attack at the sudden interruptance of his slumber.
Re: Monday, January 18th, Mid-MorningthejokingtwinAugust 4 2006, 05:27:44 UTC
Taylor grinned at Anora's sudden appearance. Mmm.. he should remind himself to get her to run her fingers through his hair more often. He took hold of her hand and twisted upright, pulling her in to his lap as he did so.
"It was a wondrous weekend. Full of wedgies. But sadly lacking one main component," he gave her a kiss.
"But you seemed to have a good one, eh? Will told me about you getting charmed. So. Who do I need to kill?" Taylor asked with a grin.
Re: Monday, January 18th, Mid-Morninganora_beeAugust 4 2006, 05:41:21 UTC
Anora gave a small gasp of surprise as she suddenly found herself seated in Taylor's lap. Not that she minded. She smiled and returned the kiss, and giggled at the mention of wedgies. "Oh really?" she asked, intrigued. "And who were the victims of said wedgies?" she smirked.
At the mention of her being charmed, she rolled her eyes as she remembered that unfortunate incident. "Oh, no one out of the ordinary, of course it was Olivia. She's such a bint, and her insults are complete rubbish," hardly a worthy adversary. So maybe Anora was a little miffed at the fact that she hadn't gotten the first strike. "Fortunately," she added, brightening at her victorious getaway, "I had a spare Dungbomb, so I threw it in her face before I left, considering I couldn't talk to hex her back," Oh, but she would. It seemed to be an endless cycle between the two of them. Oh, the lives of mortal enemies, she probably couldn't think of a person she disliked more, besides Boyko, that is.

Boyko strutted down the hallways. He was very aware of what day it was. Two days before the day he became OF AGE. The day he, Boyko Phobos, became a MAN. He was still feeling incredibly confident over his saving of Isabel the night before, cleared airway and all. He had decided to chance wearing his karate headband around, so as to keep that pesky fringe out of his eyes.
Taking a deep sniff of the morning castle air, he puffed out his chest and continued walking down the hall, feeling the merry *thump* of his Omnioculars in their silk bag banging into his leg as he stepped.
Re: Monday, January 18th, Morningcalie_myersAugust 4 2006, 05:37:12 UTC
Calie had been looking for Boyko all over the castle. However, it was hard to find someone who might be following you. She was trying to hunt the hunter and wasn't surprised she was taking so long succeeding. She passed a couple of openings to a few different hallways before spotting someone lurking around one hallway. She stopped short and backtracked. Ah ha! She was going to have this talk, and she was going to have it now.
Calie marched right up to Boyko. "Boyko, I---" Calie paused to give his karate head-band a quizzical look before continuing on, "I... we need to talk. Now."
Re: Monday, January 18th, MorningblackguardboykoAugust 4 2006, 05:44:34 UTC
Boyko was so taken by surprise by Calie's appearance that he gave a squeal of fright before clearing his throat loudly as to cover up for it. "Ca-Calie! Greetings!" he said, trying to regain his normal larynx functions. "Talk? The two of us?" Boyko could not believe his good fortune. "Splendid! I've been hankering for a conversation with you for sometime now!" he grinned broadly.
Re: Monday, January 18th, Morningcalie_myersAugust 4 2006, 05:49:46 UTC
"Ummm... whatever," Calie waved away his comments, "Look. I want to know why you do what you do. The exact reason as to why you're following me. Is it because you honestly believe I can't protect myself?" Calie asked.
"Really... I think you're a great guy, Boyko. Rather weird... and maybe a little creepy, but, erm... nice? Anyway. I don't know what to think about you watching me... and listening to every conversation I have." She took a deep breath and watched him for a response.

Ashleigh had woken up early for once. Honestly, she'd woken quite a bit earlier than she'd intended. As much as she loved the quite morning hours, she couldn't help whining to herself about not being in the warmth of her own bed.
After trying to go back to sleep, she'd decided that her time needed to be used wisely. Studying was most definitely a must.
A quick stop in the kitchens and a small hike to her favorite window seat later... she was settled with her Potions book and two muffins. As always, the subject annoyed her greatly but she did have muffins and her warm window seat... that was a plus right?
Re: Monday, January 18th, Morningmaddox_dixonAugust 4 2006, 18:37:59 UTC
Maddox couldn't sleep, he hadn't gotten more than 4 hours a night for the past week. It was starting to take its toll on him, actually. He wandered around sleepily, looking at the paintings on the wall and ignoring the random things they said to him.
He smelled something delicious and turned to see Ashleigh sitting there reading Potions! Maddox grinned and sat down near her. "Morning," he greeted her.
Re: Monday, January 18th, Morningashleigh_bartonAugust 4 2006, 19:07:05 UTC
Maddox wasn't the only one not sleeping. Ashleigh hadn't got a decent night's rest since she'd gotten back from the holidays. However, she'd grown quite accustomed to functioning on such a small amount of sleep... not that that was a good thing.
Ashleigh looked up with a smile. "Morning." She shifted her feet away from him slightly though he had her full attention. She would never turn down a distraction from Potions. Ug, bloody awful subject. "How are you?" she questioned, picking up one of her muffins. Pausing a moment, she held it out to him. "Would you like one... I have two here?"
Yes. she'd swiped two from the kitchens but only because they were fresh out of the oven and smelled so good. One would fill her up very nicely.
Re: Monday, January 18th, Morninglore_wellingtonAugust 4 2006, 20:12:12 UTC
Lorelai passed by Maddox and Ashleigh, happily ignoring them (well really, she hadn't even noticed them and really, she couldn't be expected to bother herself all the time for such peons). She was ready to go eat breakfast and then hurry onto class where she would mock everyone's stupidity..as usual.
She turned back as Maddox said his thank you and all that jazz. What a shmuck, she thought. Hmm, maybe a little transfiguration was needed? Lorelai hid behind (more of a next to than a behind) an armored knight, crouching down to get the perfect spot to aim from. Taking her wand, Lorelai quietly muttered an incantation.
Just as Maddox bit into the muffin, Lorelai's spell took effect. A rat, how fitting.
Lorelai giggled as she walked away with her wand safely tucked away.

Dom was heading back to him Common Room after lunch to work on some homework, seeing as it was his spare block next and all. He decided that today was the day he would work on Defense Against the Dark Arts. Merlin, what had his life come down to? Studying? He guessed it was normal for seventh years to be glued to their studies. He wondered how many hours he would spend studying in his lifetime.
Hmm, maybe he would take his time getting back to the Common Room. He could probably use a little break.
Re: Monday, January 18th, Afternoondanielle_coleAugust 6 2006, 02:29:56 UTC
Humming, Danielle seized and desisted as she spotted Dom. She'd been a bit strange and withdrawn the last time she'd talked to Dom and that wouldn't do. She should really work on being more outgoing. Or something.
"Hey Dom!" she greeted him. Possibly too peppy. She softened her tone as she continued. "What're you up to?"
It had been such an uneventful day. Hopefully Dom would be doing something dangerous interesting.
Re: Monday, January 18th, Afternoondashing_domAugust 6 2006, 04:07:31 UTC
Dom grinned as he spotted Danielle, "Hey Danielle," he said, "Nothing too much, just taking my time to get back to the Common Room on account of I have a spare block and decided that I have been spending all together too much time studying lately,"
Dome wasn't quite sure what he would do in this spare time that he found himself in, but perhaps Danielle was more creative than he was. The only thing he would do is sit around in the common room looking at pictures of dragons or something. He was lame like that.
Re: Monday, January 18th, Afternoondanielle_coleAugust 6 2006, 04:13:56 UTC
Danielle snorted. "Studying! Pah. Actually," her brow furrowed, "I... haven't done anything over the weekend in terms of studying. My professors might not like that. I think I'm failing most of my classes. I got a little pre-occupied. You know, with the Gryffindor party," and avoiding it, she added in her head, "did you go to that?"
"Anyway," she shook her head, "what were you planning to do? We're Gryffindors. We should be doing thrilling law-breaking activities. Like... I'm not sure. I think I fail as a Gryffindor." She shrugged, realizing she was getting introspective again.

Alex swung a bag over his shoulder as he made his way down the halls. It was a free period, finally, and he was on his way to the common room to hopefully relax. Sure, he had his own room now, but the common room was much more enjoyable.
He turned a corner and hurried down a flight of stairs, hoping to avoid certain people on his way.
Re: Monday, Jan 16, Afternooncolin_mayfieldAugust 6 2006, 04:44:51 UTC
Colin was on his way out of the common room, heading out of there so that he could go to class. On his way there, he bumped into Alex, sneering, and continued on his way. He didn't want to deal with that bastard right now, and besides, he didn't have the time.
